We are a patient-focused private dental practice in the West Portal neighborhood of San Francisco committed to providing comprehensive, high-quality dentistry in a welcoming and relationship-based environment. We are seeking an experienced Temporary General Dentist to provide coverage while our owner dentist is on maternity leave. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled clinician who enjoys practicing independently while being supported by an experienced dental team.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive general dentistry services, including: comprehensive exams and treatment planning, restorative dentistry (fillings, crowns, bridges), emergency dental care, simple extractions and other general dential procedures within scope, hygiene examinations and cleanings, and patient education
- Maintain a high standard of clinical care and patient communication
- Review and diagose treatment needs while providing thoughtful, patient-centered recommendations
- Collaborate with our assistants and front office team
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and update electronic health records using Dentrix.
- Comply with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws to protect patient confidentiality and ensure legal standards are met.

Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
- Active California dental license
- Current DEA license and malpractice insurance
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent patient care
- Experience with digital dentistry and Dentrix software preferred
