Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site position located in Ann Arbor, MI. The Sales Associate will provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with selecting eyewear and understanding their vision care options. Responsibilities include guiding customers through the eyewear selection process, accurately interpreting prescriptions, maintaining product knowledge, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. The Sales Associate will also handle transactions, manage product displays, and collaborate with the vision care team to support smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills to deliver exceptional service to clients and build strong relationships.
- Knowledge or experience in sales and retail operations, including handling transactions and supporting visual merchandising.
- Ability to understand and explain vision care products and prescriptions to customers.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills to handle responsibilities efficiently and effectively.
- Proactive team player with problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in the optical or healthcare industry is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in sales or healthcare are advantageous.
