Lathe Machine Operator

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Lathe Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating Lathe machines to produce high-quality parts and components in a fast-paced environment. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes. The Lathe Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality control.

Responsibilities

• Operate Lathe machines to manufacture parts according to specifications and engineering drawings.
• Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards.
• Conduct regular quality control checks on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and best practices in materials handling.
• Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining processes.
• Assist with troubleshooting machine issues and perform routine maintenance as needed.

Experience

• Previous experience in a manufacturing facility or factory setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with Lathe machinery, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, and quality control procedures is highly desirable.
• Experience in assembly line operations and materials handling is a plus.
• Basic math skills are essential for interpreting blueprints and performing measurements accurately.
• A strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work is required.
