STARTING WAGE $17.80/HOUR MORE DOE
EVENING & NIGHT SHIFTS RECEIVE AN ADD’L SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL

JOB SUMMARY
Under the supervision of a licensed nurse, performs hands-on nursing care for the residents within the CRH LTCC with emphasis on daily care needs, personal hygiene and cleanliness, grooming and skin care.

$3,500.00 BONUS OR SUPPLEMENTAL PAY (FULL-TIME ONLY)

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Current Wyoming Certified Nursing Assistant certification. A temporary nursing assistant certification may be accepted, but the permanent certification must be obtained prior to the expiration date of the temporary license.

EXPERIENCE
Previous experience as a nursing assistant in acute or long-term care preferred. Previous training and/or education in nursing related areas or as a nursing assistant preferred.

• Exhibits an interest in and understanding of the special needs of the older adult and others requiring long term care.
• Must possess a high degree of confidentiality in all matters with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
• Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control principles.
• Must have well-developed motor coordination and manual dexterity to perform psychomotor nursing skills.
• Must be able to interact effectively with a wide variety of people.
• Has well-developed written and verbal communication skills to interpret written instructions, and to communicate and document effectively.
• Effective computer and keyboarding skills.
• Must have ability to learn and use Microsoft Office Suite products including Word and Outlook.
• Ability to learn new computer software applications.
• Seeks out and attends educational offerings to maintain necessary clinical skills.
