Cemetery Director, West Parish Garden Cemetery

Director of the West Parish Garden Cemetery, Andover Ma

This is a 20 hour per week opportunity to run the cemetery, manage 3 employees and show your Cemetery experience and general Mgt experience. It is a managerial role and not a landscaping type role. This position will manage the Superintendent who takes care of landscaping and burials.

The position is perfect for someone who has cemetery or funeral home experience and now wants to work part time. It's in a beautiful setting of 60 acres in a garden cemetery. (private cemetery)

Responsibilities include:

- Managing all employees. Schedules, performance reviews, and work load balancing

- Lot Sales to new perspective lot owners. Help them choose the best burial locations and process the necessary paperwork

- Board of Directors engagement. Managing monthly meetings with the volunteer board of directors for operations of the cemetery.

- External face/ voice of the the cemetery to all lot owners, neighbors and community members.

- Assist and Direct the office Manager with booking, update of the website, managing the digital lot system for finding loves ones, Overseeing community events

- Oversee the large scale cemetery projects and budgets
