We’re Hiring: PRN Medical Assistant (Front Desk, Pre-Op & PACU Support)
We are seeking Medical Assistant (Front Desk, Pre-Op & PACU Support) to join our team. In this role, you will provide excellent customer service, assist with patient registration, and support nursing staff as needed. You will be the first point of contact for our patients, setting the tone for a positive experience.
- Assist nursing staff with patient care activities in the Pre-Operative and PACU departments
- Prepare patients for procedures and support patient flow throughout the surgical process
- Provide support to nursing staff as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service and communication to patients and families
- Greet patients and visitors with professionalism and courtesy
- Register patients, verify demographics, and ensure accurate documentation
- Answer phones and assist with scheduling
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient front desk environment
- Follow directions and work cooperatively in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Medical registration experience required
- Bilingual Spanish or Russian preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service and patient interaction skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, professional, and team-oriented
