West of the Moon in Cannon Beach is hiring immediately for a year-round retail sales associate, full-time. We carry an eclectic array of hand-selected home furnishings, apparel, and jewelry from around the world.
The ideal candidate is an outgoing, confident, energetic individual with retail sales experience and excellent people skills. Must be responsible, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment as well as organize, clean and maintain during slower times. We are open seven days a week, including weekends and holidays.
We have over 40 years of treating our customers to excellent, engaging service while offering a unique variety of merchandise. We are searching for the right individual to conscientiously represent our business, enjoy our positive work environment, and create sales.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting products and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their shopping experience.
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
- Stock shelves and ensure merchandise is organized and displayed attractively.
- Utilize basic math skills for inventory management and sales reporting.
- Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and promote store promotions.
- Maintain a clean and safe shopping environment for customers.
Pay: From $18.50 per hour
