What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at WEST OAK VENTURES LLC?
We are seeking a skilled and reliable MaintenanceTechnician to join our team. This role is responsible for performing general maintenance tasks at our customers' properties, including light plumbing, electrical, appliance and HVAC repairs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where schedules and priorities may shift quickly.
Qualifications
5 years of experience in general maintenance, or make-ready/turnover work preferred.
Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances and HVAC
Ability to safely operate power tools and hand tools.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work, including climbing ladders, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Preferred Skills (not required)
Experience with apartment or rental property turnovers or maintenance
Familiarity with job tracking software (Knowify, CompanyCam, etc.)
HVAC, electrical, or plumbing certifications.
