Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service and repair, CDJR experience is preferred with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently. This role requires expertise in automotive electrical systems, schematics, and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. As an Automotive Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers' vehicles are safe, reliable, and performing at their best. We offer an extremely competitive pay plan. 3 day weekend every other week.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
- Diagnose automotive issues using appropriate testing equipment and techniques.
- Align wheels and adjust suspension systems as needed to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Work with automotive electrical systems, including troubleshooting wiring issues and replacing components.
- Read and interpret schematics to assist in repairs and installations.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle.
- Collaborate with service advisors to provide high-quality customer service and efficient repairs.
- Conduct welding tasks as required for specific repairs or modifications.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role in a dealership or repair shop setting.
- Strong knowledge of automotive service techniques, repair processes, and safety protocols.
- Proficiency in working with automotive electrical systems and schematics.
- Ability to align vehicles accurately using specialized equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Certification from an accredited automotive program is preferred but not mandatory.
