Job Summary
NOW HIRING! Join our Giovannis team as a "Customer Service team member!" We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Servers, Cashiers and order takers to join our established team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. As a Server/Cashier/Order Taker, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment for guests while taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a memorable dining experience.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions regarding food and drink options
- Ensure timely delivery of orders to guests' tables
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Address guest concerns or complaints promptly with professionalism
- Assist in training new staff members as needed
Experience
- Previous experience as a server or customer service role is preferred but not required
- Strong sales skills to promote menu items effectively
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations or guest inquiries
- Experience in client services or call center environments is beneficial
- Strong analysis skills to assess guest needs and improve service
- Cash handling experience is necessary for processing payments accurately
