West Michigan Seawall & Marine Construction LLC is seeking an experienced Foreman to direct and guide a crew of laborers and skilled tradesmen on residential and commercial marine construction projects. Key Responsibilities
- Crew Supervision: Lead and mentor crew members to complete tasks safely and effectively.
- Project Coordination: Manage daily job site operations and align tasks with the overall project schedule.
- Work Quality & Efficiency: Uphold high-quality standards and ensure project goals are met efficiently.
- Safety Leadership: Enforce all safety protocols and conduct safety meetings on-site.
- Material & Equipment Management: Oversee tools, materials, and supplies; coordinate with vendors to prevent delays.
- Training & Development: Provide hands-on training to workers and new hires.
- Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between field crews and ownership.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve job site challenges as they arise.
- Quality Control: Inspect work for adherence to company and client expectations; correct deficiencies proactively.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in construction or marine construction, including supervisory responsibilities.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate crews effectively in the field.
- Strong working knowledge of construction methods, tools, and safety practices.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, work outdoors in variable conditions, and troubleshoot in real time.

Schedule
Monday-Friday, full-time hours. Overtime may be available based on project requirements.
