Job Skills / Requirements
Responsibilities of School Custodian/Janitor:
- Follow all company and facility cleaning procedures
- Clean, sanitize and restock restrooms and common areas
- Empty trash and recyclable receptacles
- Clean and disinfect hard surfaces
- Vacuum, sweep and mop floors
- Clean interior windows/doors
- Report maintenance issues, supply needs and other concerns to a Team Lead or Manager
Requirements of Custodian/Janitor:
- No Experience, No Problem!
- Dependable and reliable attendance
- Ability to work independently and stay on task
- Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to use motorized equipment (vacuum, hand operated floor cleaners)
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and safety related materials
- MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK & FINGERPRINTING
Custodians/Janitors have daily exposure to cleaning solutions.
Hiring for both part-time (P/T) & full-time (F/T)
1st Shift (Days) - P/T is 11:00am to 3:00pm
2nd Shift (Evenings) - P/T is 4:00pm to 8:00pm or 6:00pm to 10:00pm & F/T is 4:00pm to 12:30am
