Job Skills / Requirements
Requirements of Muskegon Area Custodian/Janitor:
- No Experience/No Problem!
- Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to use motorized equipment (vacuum, hand operated floor cleaners)
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and safety related materials
- MUST have reliable transportation
- This role travels between three (3) accounts in the Muskegon Area
- Must be able to pass a background check & fingerprinting
Role of Muskegon Area Custodian/Janitor:
- Maintaining the cleanliness of buildings
- Travels between buildings
- Cleaning, stocking and sanitizing restrooms
- Disposing of trash & recycling
- Mopping & sweeping floors
- Dusting and surface cleaning
- Windows and glass cleaning
- Inventory management of supplies
Custodians/Janitors have daily exposure to cleaning solutions.
Shift Times: Monday/Wednesday/Friday hours 6:30pm to 12:30am, Tuesday/Thursday hours 6:30pm to 10:30pm
