Job Title: Echo/Vascular Sonographer

West Michigan Cardiology is looking for a self-driven, motivated, energetic, and reliable Echo/Vascular Sonographer to join our imaging team. We are a privately owned outpatient facility in Grand Rapids.

You will have multiple responsibilities and variety in this role. This will include timely and accurate scanning, charting, and communicating with other staff to ensure overall efficiency.
Job Description
- The individual shall perform routine transthoracic echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms in accordance with our imaging protocols which follow ASE guidelines. We utilize strain, 2D, 3D, and m-mode.
- Vascular testing including ABI, carotid duplex, upper and lower extremity venous and arterial duplex, AAA, renal ultrasounds, and vascular screenings.
- Weekly travel to our Greenville site as well as joining the rotation for occasional travel to our Big Rapids location
- Four days a week, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm
- Monday through Friday - no nights, weekends, or Holidays
Qualifications
- Minimum Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited sonography program.
- Registered RCS or RDCS and RVT or must complete registration within 180 of hire date.
- BLS certification required within 60 days of hire date.
- Job history that proves an individual as dependable
- Outstanding customer service
- Professionalism and compassion
- Proficiency in sonography and basic computer applications (i.e. Microsoft Word, Outlook, etc.).
- Experience with Philips equipment is a benefit.
- Experience with Epic is a plus
- Possess the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
