Aviation Maintenance Team Lead, A&P with IA

Own the integrity of every inspection and repair. Mentor technicians, set the tempo for safe, efficient work, and provide the final signature that keeps aircraft flying confidently and compliantly.

• Perform and approve inspections, maintenance, and repairs to FAA and company quality benchmarks.
• Utilize IA privileges to return aircraft to service; oversee annual and progressive inspection programs.
• Guide the maintenance crew with hands‑on leadership, technical coaching, and adherence to best practices.
• Ensure every logbook entry and compliance record is complete, accurate, and audit‑ready.
• Rapidly troubleshoot issues across airframe, powerplant, and related systems; drive corrective actions.
• Hold the line on finish quality, detail, and craftsmanship—no shortcuts.
• Keep customers, pilots, and teammates informed with clear status updates and timelines.
• Advance a safety‑centric, continuously improving shop culture.
• Support planning, scheduling, and throughput to optimize shop performance.

• FAA A&P certificate and active IA.
• At least 4 years of maintenance leadership or supervisory experience.
• Thorough knowledge of FAA regulations, inspection processes, and documentation standards.
• Track record of guiding teams and balancing priorities under deadline pressure.
• Diagnostic proficiency across multiple aircraft systems.
• Professional, customer‑facing communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Comfort working both independently and as a collaborative teammate.
• Experience with general aviation platforms.
