What are the responsibilities and job description for the Welder/Fabricator position at West Metal Works Inc.?
Family owned and operated, ASME Section VIII, Div. 1 and Commercial Union welding shop seeks experienced Welder/Fabricator. 3 years’ experience with ASME Section IX, GMAW, GMAW-P, SMAW, & FCAW, preferred. GTAW knowledge or willingness to learn would be a plus. The ideal candidate should have fabrication experience in a job shop environment and should be proficient in reading drawings. Must work well with others as well as independently. Must be reliable.
Weld test, GMAW-P (3G) carbon steel (Radiography) required prior to employment.
Union membership is required after a 60-day probationary period. Union wages and benefits including vacation, sick time, holiday pay, health, dental & vision insurance, boot allowance and yearly safety incentive. 401K after one year of employment, with weekly company contribution.
Pre-employment drug test and physical required
