We specialize in Oral Surgery and are looking for a highly orginazed and professional to join our team.
We are a busy Oral Surgery office looking for a full-time Oral Surgery Reception Coordinator and/or Surgical Assitant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Manage patient scheduling and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Handle multi-line phone systems to address inquiries and facilitate communication.
- Process patient information and payments, including medical collections when necessary.
- Utilize dental terminology and administrative skills to support office operations and enhance patient service.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for patient care.
- Assist the surgeon during surgeries (passing instruments, retraction, suctioning, maintaining a sterile field).
- Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
- Take X-rays, utilizing knowledge of medical imaging and dental radiography.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in administrative support and front desk operations
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency in filing and managing dental records
- Familiarity with dental terminology
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently
- Experience with costumer service
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
