Work Location:
Primarily West Memorials (1212 University Street, Memphis, TN 38018), Multiple Locations. You must have reliable means of transportation/commute to travel to and from work.
Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable, hard worker. You will learn and utilize techniques that will ensure each memorial meets the highest standards of quality and durability. This position is an exciting opportunity to combine craftsmanship with meaningful work, helping families honor their loved ones with dignity and respect.
**Full-time position. Monday-Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm . You must be at work on time.**
**MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE**
Duties
A daily routine for this position would consist of:
- Stenciling and Sandblasting lettering onto headstones
- Frosting and painting memorials
- Maintaining our on-premises stone yard
- Building wood shipping crates and preparing monument shipments in a timely manner
- Keeping an organized shop
- Operating a forklift, heavy equipment, power tools, hand tools, and specialized machinery to craft and operating a hydraulic crane to install headstones
- On the job training for skills listed above
**Indoor and outdoor work required. You will also frequently be driving to and installing memorials in local and regional cemeteries. There may be occasional overnight travel to install monuments (accommodation/expenses will be covered)**
Experience
- Carpentry or Stone Masonry: 1 Year (Preferred).
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts (Preferred).
- Comfortable with using/learning how to use power tools like saws, drills, grinders, etc. for detailed craftsmanship.
- Ability to work safely while maintaining high-quality standards for finished products.
- Pay is negotiable depending on experience.

- High school or equivalent (Required)
License/Certification
- Driver's License (Required)
