West Manchester Township is seeking fifteen (15) part-time candidates for the position of Firefighter. West Manchester Township firefighters provide emergency fire suppression, rescue operations, and emergency medical services within West Manchester Township and mutual-aid communities. Responsibilities include operating emergency apparatus, conducting fire prevention inspections, participating in public education programs, maintaining equipment and facilities, and sustaining all required certifications and physical readiness. A high school diploma, or equivalent, is required with a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of firefighting, EMS, or related emergency service experience.
