What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time Industrial Technology Teacher position at West Lyon Community School District?
West Lyon Community School District is seeking an Industrial Technology teacher to serve our Junior High/High School students and join our growing program. A successful candidate should hold or be willing to attain an Iowa Licensure in Industrial Technology. This candidate should be willing to contribute to our Industrial Technology program through collaboration and innovation. Course work at this time would be decided based on the candidate.
West Lyon Community School District is located in rural Lyon County. The entire student body resides in 1 building. We have approximately 425 students in our 7-12 portion of the building. The community support in our district is evident in passing a 4,800 sq. foot Industrial Technology addition in 2018. Additionally, voters approved a $32 million dollar expansion/renovation project slated to be finished in December of 2025.
