West Lyon Community School District is looking for a full-time 5th-8th Instrumental Band instructor and a position of Assistant Marching Band. The successful candidate will hold or be able to secure appropriate Iowa licensure and endorsement for this position. Preference will be placed on candidates with a specialty in woodwinds.
West Lyon Community School District is located in rural Lyon County. The entire student body resides in 1 building. The community support in our district is evident in a voter approved a $32 million dollar expansion/renovation project slated to be finished in December of 2025. Part of that expansion is a 750 seat Performing Arts Center.
