Coach: Head Girls Soccer - Wilsonville High School
This position starts August 14, 2026.
Pay rates are currently in progress of being updated per MOU.
Positive leader with effective communication skills in directing a quality high school soccer program. Effective teacher at the game, developing individual skills and competitive teams; qualified experience in directing a total quality program and guiding students-athletes; liaison with the community youth programs; ability to work with other staff members, coaches, and administration.
Help build up numbers of participants through connections with the youth program and other programs at the high school.
A. A Head Coach Assumes responsibility for the entire program including:
coaches the varsity team
Supervises and evaluate assistant coaches 9-12,
positively promotes the athletic program within the schools and the community,
Provide timely feedback to parental requests
implements district and athletic department policies
Supervising student athletes when traveling at all times
Works with the Athletic Trainer to injury plans and treatment
B. Assists in the selection and evaluation of assistant coaches.
Hire and supervise quality assistant coaches
Maintain a positive coaching relationship with players/coaches, coaches, and parents and coaching staff
Ability to supervise all areas at West Linn and at other locations team functions are at: this is not limited to locker rooms, gyms, and other areas of the school or community
At visiting areas, leave locker room as it was found, no vandalism or destruction of property
C. Works with the Athletic Director:
Arrangements for out-of-town trips
Off season Conditioning and Camps
Practice schedule for the in season and playoffs
Performs other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director
The candidate must be NFHS or ASEP certified prior to coaching and complete steriod and concussion awareness training as well as other various WLHS employment requirements.
