Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- One years experience as Food Server / Banquet Server in a country club, upscale hotel, or free-standing restaurant operation.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of quality food service techniques and standards.
- Exceptional guest service skills.
- Ability to lift and carry food service trays weighing 35 pounds.
- Ability to stand, stoop and bend repetitively during the entire shift.
- Ability to speak, read and understand the English language.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.
Preferred Skills and Abilities :
- Certifications; TIPS or equivalent responsible vendor, ServSafe
- Wine knowledge.

- Completes required set-up / preparation of area before the scheduled activity.
- Inspects all equipment before, during, and at the end of each shift.
- Reports any deviations from standards to the Manager / Supervisor.
- Inventories materials and supplies at the beginning of a shift, and obtains quantities necessary to support forecasted levels of business.
- Prepares coffee, iced / hot tea, and other beverages as required.
- Check all plates before service for accuracy, completeness, appearance, and presentation.
- Serves food to members and their guests following Service Standards.
- Monitors members and their guests anticipates needs, responds to requests, and ensures satisfaction.
- Monitors members' and their guests' alcohol consumption to prevent overindulgence and ensure safety.
- Clears tables and breaks down area after completion of food service activity.
- Completes assigned end-of-shift duties.
- Other duties as assigned.
General :
- Promotes and applies teamwork skills at all times.
- Notifies appropriate individuals promptly and fully of problems and / or unusual matters of significance.
- Is polite, friendly, and helpful to members and their guests, management, and fellow employees.
- Complies with required safety regulations and procedures.
