West Lake Animal Hospital is a locally owned and operated, fear free veterinary clinic dedicated to providing calm, compassionate care to the pets in the Springfield, Il area. We are seeking a motivated, upbeat, and positive veterinary technician to join our team! Flexible scheduling.
Job duties include but are not limited to taking patient histories, assisting veterinarians in rooms during appointments, drawing up vaccines, drawing blood, placing IV catheters, using lab equipment and microscope for diagnostic tests, taking radiographs, monitoring anesthesia, and performing treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
Positive and friendly attitude, attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and reliability are a must. Previous veterinary experience preferred.
