Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced X-Ray / Mammography Technologist for a part-time or full-time role. You will perform diagnostic imaging procedures (general radiography and mammography) in a free-standing outpatient setting, contributing to excellent patient experience and high image quality.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations (general radiography) in accordance with protocols.
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams, including patient positioning, image acquisition, and patient education.
- Ensure image quality, proper patient identification, and adherence to ALARA and radiation safety standards.
- Assist with patient preparation, communication, and comfort throughout examination.
- Maintain equipment, quality control records, and regulatory documentation (ACR accreditation standards).
- Collaborate with radiologists, front-desk, and support staff to maintain workflow and exceptional service.
- Uphold professional standards, maintain confidentiality (HIPAA), and demonstrate a patient-friendly attitude.
- ARRT(R) or ARRT(R)(M) certification required (or permitted by state).
- Licensed (or eligible) radiologic technologist in Pennsylvania.
- Mammography certification (ARRT(M) or MQSA compliance) preferred.
- Experience in mammography and general radiography strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with outpatient imaging center workflow preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; high level of compassion and professionalism.
- Ability to adapt to varying workloads, part-time or full-time schedule, and willingness to help as part of a team.
Flexible schedule options available: part-time (e.g., 2–3 days/week) or full-time. Some Saturdays or extended hours may be required depending on center needs.
