Virtual Arkansas Facilitator
The Virtual Arkansas Facilitator supports students enrolled in Virtual Arkansas online courses by providing supervision, monitoring academic progress, and encouraging student engagement and success. The facilitator serves as the primary liaison between students, Virtual Arkansas teachers, parents, counselors, and school administrators while helping students stay on pace, meet deadlines, and develop effective learning habits.
Essential Duties:
- Supervise students during scheduled Virtual Arkansas class periods.
- Monitor attendance, coursework, grades, and student progress.
- Communicate regularly with Virtual Arkansas teachers, parents, counselors, and administrators.
- Assist students with basic technology issues and accessing online learning platforms.
- Encourage accountability, organization, and academic success.
- Maintain a positive, structured learning environment and support school and Virtual Arkansas policies.
- Assist with testing and other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication, organizational, and technology skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families.
- Experience working with secondary students preferred.
