Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Licensing Specialist located in Tampa, FL. The Licensing Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks related to licensing foster homes. This includes recruiting, training, and supporting prospective foster families, conducting licensing studies, and ensuring compliance with state regulations. The role also involves maintaining detailed records, providing excellent customer service to potential and current foster families, and participating in community outreach programs.
Qualifications
- Analytical Skills and Research skills
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
- Knowledge of child welfare policies and procedures is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field is preferred
