Position Summary
West End Workforce is a female-owned and led recruitment platform that is making a huge splash in the staffing industry, and we are rapidly growing.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Operations Coordinator to support payroll, invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and recurring operational workflows in a fast-paced, growing environment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, follow-through, and helping create structure and consistency across financial and operational processes. The preferred candidate will live near Houston, Texas. The role is fully remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate weekly payroll processing activities and verify supporting documentation
- Generate and distribute client invoices and maintain billing records
- Support accounts receivable activities, payment tracking, and collections follow-up
- Process accounts payable and assist with weekly payment scheduling
- Perform routine reconciliations, including bank accounts and credit cards
- Support month-end close preparation and financial record maintenance
- Maintain organized workflow tracking, documentation, and operational records
- Assist with onboarding documentation and administrative support as needed
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of accounting, payroll, finance operations, or related experience
- Experience with AP, AR, invoicing, payroll, and reconciliations preferred
- Experience with QuickBooks Online or similar accounting systems
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Able to manage recurring deadlines and shifting priorities
- Strong communication and follow-through skills
- Must have experience in the staffing industry

- Payroll and invoicing are completed accurately and on time
- Financial records remain organized and up to date
- Reconciliations and workflow tasks are completed consistently
- Issues and discrepancies are identified and escalated proactively
- Operational workflows become more organized and reliable
