For more than 140 years, has strengthened Delaware communities through employment training, housing support, youth development, financial coaching, and foster care services, impacting more than 10,000 Delawareans annually.
West End Neighborhood House is seeking a visionary and community-centered Executive Director to lead the organization into its next chapter. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director will provide strategic and operational leadership, advance fundraising and donor engagement efforts, champion a culture grounded in equity and inclusion, and serve as the organization’s leading ambassador across the community, government, philanthropic, and nonprofit sectors.
The ideal candidate will bring:
- 10 years of nonprofit executive leadership experience
- A demonstrated track record in fundraising and major gift development
- Experience partnering effectively with a governing board
- Strong financial and operational leadership capabilities
- The ability to lead through growth, complexity, and change
Knowledge of Delaware’s philanthropic and legislative landscape, along with an appreciation for the “Delaware Way,” is strongly preferred.
Salary : $145,000 - $175,000
