What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child Care Van Driver position at West End Neighborhood House, Inc.?
West End Neighborhood House is seeking Full-time and Part-time Van Drivers for its Youth Development Department serving youth in grades K β 12. By way of mental health focus groups, tutoring and education activities, sports and recreation, and cultural/artistic expression, West End provides positive opportunities and experiences and prevents risky-behaviors associated with substance abuse, pregnancy, violence and suicide.
Education/ Training:
- Experience driving 10, 12, and 15 passenger vans
- Experience working with children
Job Responsibilities:
- Pick up program participants upon dismissal from schools
- Drop off participants at West End Neighborhood House
- Transport participants to and from field trips, events, and activities, as needed
Skills & Abilities:
- Available weekday afternoons during school year
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. (Split Shift) - (Additional hours may be available)
Salary/Benefits: $15-$20/hour
Conditions of Hire: A satisfactory criminal background check and driving record are required as a condition of hire.
