Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of grilled dishes, including meats, vegetables, and seafood, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, ovens, and food prep stations safely and efficiently
• Follow food safety protocols and sanitizing procedures rigorously to ensure a clean and safe working environment
• Assist with menu planning by providing input on ingredient quality and preparation techniques
• Ensure all food handling practices comply with health regulations and company policies
• Support food production during peak hours by managing multiple orders simultaneously with accuracy and speed
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth kitchen workflow and uphold high standards of culinary excellence

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation with a focus on grilling techniques such as braising, poaching, and other cooking methods
• Strong knife skills and familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment
• Background in food safety management, including sanitizing procedures and proper food handling practices
• Experience in high-volume production environments within restaurants or catering settings
• Knowledge of menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation processes
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and team-oriented attitude to support a cohesive kitchen environment
