What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Part-Time Food Manager position at WEST END CREAMERY?
We’re looking for a seasonal, part-time Food Manager to join our team! This role is ideal for someone who is organized, creative, and enjoys improving systems and bringing new ideas to life. You’ll help oversee and strengthen food operations across multiple concession areas on our farm while supporting a fun, efficient, and welcoming guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage food and supply inventory
- Oversee food prep and service across multiple concession stands on our farm
- Train and support concession staff
- Help establish and improve food service systems and daily processes
- Collaborate on menu items and specialty offerings
- Ensure food service equipment and work areas are clean, sanitized, and operating safely
What we’re looking for:
- Previous food service or kitchen management experience preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- ServSafe Manager Certification (or must be obtained within 30 days of hire)
Schedule & Pay:
- Pay: $18-$22/ hour, depending on experience
- Schedule: Now until mid September Tues-Sat 8:30am-2:30pm
- Schedule: Mid September through October weekends and 2 weekdays (flexible)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
License/Certification:
- ServSafe Manager Certification (Preferred)
