At West Electric, we operate under a brokerage model, allowing our energy consultants to work directly with customers to determine the best panels, inverters, and financing products to fit their specific needs.

Who We're Looking For

We seek self-driven individuals who are committed to doing right by the customer while paving their own path to financial independence. Whether your strength is connecting with customers over the phone or closing deals face-to-face, there's a seat for you on our team.

Sales experience is a plus but not required.

Positions Available

We are hiring across both our inside and outside sales teams. Tell us which role fits you best, or apply and we'll help you find the right fit.

  • Inside Sales / Appointment Setters: Phone-based role connecting with homeowners who've expressed interest in solar, answering first-round questions, qualifying leads, and booking appointments for our energy consultants. Great for someone who thrives on the phone and wants a path toward outside sales.
  • Outside Sales / Energy Consultants: Field-based role meeting homeowners in their homes, conducting needs assessments, designing solutions, and closing deals. Ideal for a self-starter who's comfortable running their own pipeline and managing customer relationships from first meeting to signed contract.

Job Responsibilities

  • Showcase, advertise, and market products and services to both current and prospective customers, by phone and in person
  • Make outbound calls and field inbound inquiries to engage and qualify prospective customers
  • Conduct cost-benefit and needs assessments to determine the best solutions for clients
  • Schedule, confirm, and conduct appointments, keeping calendars full and accurate
  • Build, nurture, and maintain strong business and customer relationships
  • Swiftly address customer concerns to ensure high levels of satisfaction
  • Meet and exceed established sales and appointment goals within designated timeframes
  • Collaborate with team members and departments to maximize sales efficiency
  • Analyze market potential, track sales progress, and create status reports
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends
  • Strive for continuous improvement by implementing feedback

Job Qualifications

  • Proven success in sales, lead generation, or customer service is a plus
  • Strong phone presence and clear, friendly communication
  • Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to perform under pressure and consistently meet or surpass goals
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Resourceful, adept at multitasking, prioritizing, and solving problems
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule
  • Reliable personal transportation required for outside sales roles
  • Applicants must be 18 years or older

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Salary : $75,000 - $150,000
