Responsibilities
- Assist in managing a caseload of personal injury matters through the litigation process
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents
- Support depositions, including preparation of materials and summaries
- Conduct legal research and assist in drafting memoranda and briefs
- Assist in preparing cases for hearings, mediations, and trial
- Communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel under attorney supervision
- Maintain organized case files and track deadlines
- Active member of the California State Bar in good standing
- 1-2 years of litigation experience (personal injury preferred)
- Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
- Exposure to discovery, motion practice, or depositions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Collaborative and eager to learn
