Responsibilities:
- Communicate clearly and effectively with clients and transportation partners.
- Track, document and manage shipments throughout their entire life cycle.
- Proactively update customers on shipment status and provide needed documentation as soon as it becomes available.
- Prepare price quotes for different shipping needs as needed.
- Work with sales to make sure we're meeting customer needs.
- Build good working relationships with customers and internal team members.
- Adhere to all needs and/or special requests and/or SOP's specific to each account.
- Coordinate with carriers throughout the shipping process to ensure proper delivery and level of service.
- Be prepared to take on new tasks and responsibilities as needed.
- Has 1-3 years of logistics experience
- 1-3 years in a customer service role
- Experience in drayage
- A great communicator over the phone, in email, and in person.
- An individual with exceptional organizational skills capable of juggling multiple tasks.
- Someone who is comfortable with computers and willing to learn new systems.
- A team player who is ready to jump in and help where needed.
- A quick learner who can thrive and adapt in a dynamic, high-energy environment.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Authorization to work in the US
- 1-3 years of Logistics experience preferred
- This is an in-person role, 1 WFH day granted after training is complete
- Ability to communicate thoroughly and professionally with all internal/external parties
- Ability to be highly organized/detail-oriented
- Ability to multitask, problem solve and function in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and TMS system.
