Role Description
We have openings for two full-time, on-site roles based in Woodland, WA, for Crane and Heavy Equipment Instructors. Instructors will teach and evaluate students in the proper operation of cranes and/or heavy equipment, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. Responsibilities include providing classroom instruction, practical hands-on training, demonstrating equipment operation, supervising student practice, and maintaining training equipment. The role also involves guiding students through CCO and/or NCCER certification process depending on instrucion of course and ensuring their readiness for careers in the crane and/or heavy construction industry.
Qualifications
Crane Instructor:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience.
- NCCCO certifications preferred
- Ability to communicate with others using oral and written skills.
- Possess physical, intellectual, and leadership abilities needed to perform the duties of Crane Operator training, and classroom instruction.
- Team-oriented and results-driven.
- Must have a neat and clean appearance.
- Be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
Heavy Equipment Instructor:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience.
- Ability to communicate with others using oral and written skills.
- Possess physical, intellectual, and leadership abilities needed to perform the duties of heavy equipment, operator training, and classroom instruction.
- Team-oriented and results-driven.
- NCCER credentials a plus
- Must have a neat and clean appearance.
- Be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
