Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanic located in Sacramento, CA. The Mechanic will be responsible for performing maintenance, preventive maintenance, and repair of vehicles and heavy equipment. Daily tasks will include troubleshooting mechanical issues, identifying and solving problems efficiently, and ensuring that all equipment is in excellent working condition to support operational needs. The Mechanic will work collaboratively with the team to uphold safety standards and maximize equipment performance.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, and Maintenance & Repair tasks
- Experience with servicing and repairing Heavy Equipment
- Strong Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues effectively
- Knowledge of safety protocols for working with heavy machinery and tools
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred
