Duties
- Prepare a variety of sandwiches and other menu items following established recipes and quality standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Manage customer transactions including cash handling, processing payments, and issuing receipts while ensuring accuracy
- Engage with customers through friendly service, upselling additional menu items to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness of the workspace, including food prep areas, dining space, and kitchen equipment, adhering to sanitation standards
- Restock supplies, ingredients, and packaging materials as needed to ensure smooth daily operations
- Assist with food safety practices by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, quick service restaurants, or fast food environments
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order management and sales transactions
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively while maintaining food safety standards
- Basic math skills for cash register operations and retail math calculations
- Knowledge of sanitation practices, food safety management, and proper food handling procedures
- Previous experience in retail sales transactions or grocery store environments is a plus
