West Coast Critical Care Specialists is seeking an experienced and motivated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our well-established Intensivist/Pulmonary group providing inpatient nocturnist coverage for the DOU (Step-Down Unit).

You will work alongside on-site Intensivists and Pulmonologists in a highly respected and collaborative environment featuring:
- Well-established Pulmonary, Intensive Care, and Step-Down Program
- State-of-the-art Critical Care Unit
- 2018 Silver Beacon Award for Excellence from the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses
- Gold Plus Stroke / ELVO Receiving Center
- STEMI Receiving Center
- Strong support from consulting specialties including:
- Interventional Radiology
- Cardiology
- Neurology
- Gastroenterology
- Nephrology
- Surgery
Inpatient care is provided at:
- St. John’s Regional Medical Center
- St. John’s Hospital Camarillo
- Provide overnight inpatient coverage for the DOU (Step-Down Unit)
- Collaborate closely with Intensivists, Pulmonologists, and consulting physicians
- Assess, diagnose, and manage medically complex patients
- Participate in high-quality, patient-centered critical care
- California PA or NP license (completed or in process)
- ACLS certification
- Strong Internal Medicine foundation
- Pulmonary medicine experience preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
- Minimum 2 years of PA/ACNP experience preferred
