Restoration Crew Chief Position Summary: West Coast Fire & Water restoration crew chiefs responsible for responding and overseeing crews on emergency calls for leaks, floods, or fire break outs in a house or commercial buildings.
Restoration Crew Chief Duties and Responsibilities:
Restoration Crew Chief Essential Duties:
- Follow and assist with WCFW processes in relation to customers, and take care of their needs
- Help to oversee resources and crews following WFCW guidelines
- Complete paperwork as directed by Project Manager and Regional Ops Manager
- Help to prepare crews with the knowledge and equipment necessary for the job
- Utilize DASH software for updating projects with PM
- Water extraction and mitigation
- Fire and smoke cleaning and restoration
- Microbial remediation
- Vandalism and biohazard cleanup
- Demonstrate a consistent and reliable work ethic
- On-location cleaning
- Content handling and storage
- Ensuring that all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
- Ability to respond to emergency calls
- Maintain equipment
- Providing the highest level of customer service
- Full utilization of TSheets/QB Time
- All other duties or projects as assigned
Reporting Relationship:
- Project Manager

- None
Requirements
Qualifications:
- High school or equivalent
- Restoration experience is a plus
- Maintains a valid and current Driver's license
- Flexible availability
- Excellent communicator, both verbally and written
West Coast Fire & Water Work Environment:
- Office Climate, averaging 70-78 degrees
- Work Environment noise range from quiet to moderately loud
- Outdoor Climate, dependent on region
Travel:
Emergency and non-emergency travel within assigned region
Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally required to sit; use hands to handle or feel and talk or hear.
- Frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
- Required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, occasionally crawl.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
