ARCHITECTURAL SHEET METAL DRAFTER/Engineer
POSITION SUMMARY & REQUIREMENTS:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated CAD/Drafter to produce shop drawings in AutoCAD/REVIT for customer review. The right candidate will have prior experience in the Architectural Sheet Metal field or construction drawings and possess a basic understanding of construction processes and requirements as well as excellent communication and multitasking skills.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
- Drafting using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Drafting using REVIT software.
- Creating diagrams and layouts to illustrate the sequencing of work.
- Collaborating with the design team to review drawings and designs.
- Making adjustments to drawings according to feedback from engineers or architects.
- Ensuring designs comply with company regulations and quality standards.
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:
- Complete understanding of blueprints/Construction Drawings.
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, design, structural, or a similar field. (Preferred but not required)
- Self-sufficient in AutoCAD.
- 3-5 Years’ Experience in Architectural shop drawings and standards, preferred but not required.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent technology skills including proficiency/experience in Bluebeam; AutoCAD; Revit; Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to accurately read complex drawings.
- The ability to meet tight deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
*PAY: $70,000 AND UP DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE*
POSITION IS FULL TIME/PERMANENT WITH FLEXIBLE HOURS BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 7:00 A.M AND 4:00 P.M., MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.
