Responsibilities:
- Process and audit bi-weekly payroll.
- Review timecards, missing punches, reimbursements, and stipends.
- Reconcile health insurance, 401(k), and other payroll deductions.
- Prepare and review payroll deduction reports and payroll registers.
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies.
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries.
- Track unpaid leaves of absence and process related payroll adjustments.
- Coordinate disability and paid family leave deductions with HR.
- Verify PTO and sick leave payouts.
- Maintain payroll records and processing documentation.
- Provide HR Coordinator support as needed.
Required:
- 3–5 years of payroll experience.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing, deductions, benefits, and reconciliations.
- Experience preparing payroll reports and auditing payroll data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with iSolved and HCM Premier.
- Knowledge of California wage and hour laws.
- Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or ABA services.
