All Paraprofessionals must have or obtain an educational aide permit with ESEA Endorsement.
Rise Program Overview: A program to serve students with significant social-emotional and behavioral needs. The program will focus on strengthening pro-social behavior skills and strategies to manage emotions. Students may still participate in the general education setting for parts of the day when appropriate, as determined by the IEP team.
Rise Program Features: Students are supported by program staff with ongoing professional development in the area of positive behavior principles, trauma informed strategies, and crisis prevention and intervention. Students have access to direct social-emotional skill instruction, consistent schedules and routines, clear behavioral expectations with frequent feedback and access to calming areas. Students may access mental health services with parent/guardian permission. Services are provided using a team approach.
