What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Parts Counter Person position at West Chevrolet?
As a parts advisor you will assist technicians and customers in purchasing needed parts and supplies for vehicle repairs. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the timeliness of vehicle repairs and customer satisfaction. Assist all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional and efficient manner. Inform customers of companion part requirements and specials and ensures that the customer is exposed to the full product line. Answer phone calls and provide price quotes and other information as requested. Pull and fills orders from stock. Notify parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention. Notify the service advisor and/or the customer when ordered parts have been received. Ensure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order. Ensure that all external charge sales are signed by the customer and all customers receive a copy of the invoice. Issue credit for any parts returned and ensure the original invoice is available to verify purchase and pricing. Replenish assigned inventory daily. Participate with the parts manager in maintaining a lost sales tracking program. All other duties as assigned.

- Automotive Parts Sales Occupations: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- ASE Certification (Preferred)
