We are seeking an experienced Dental Office Manager to oversee the daily administrative and financial operations of our dental practice. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable in dental insurance processes, patient scheduling, and front-office management. This role is essential to ensuring efficient office flow, accurate billing, and excellent patient service.
Key Responsibilities
Insurance & Billing
- Enter and review Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) accurately
- Calculate patient copays, deductibles, and coinsurance
- Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments
- Follow up on insurance claims, denials, and outstanding balances
- Maintain accurate patient financial records
Scheduling & Office Flow
- Fill and manage dentist and hygiene schedules to maximize productivity
- Confirm appointments and manage cancellations and rescheduling
- Coordinate treatment plans with clinical staff
Patient Management
- Check patients in and out efficiently and professionally
- Collect copays and outstanding balances at time of service
- Address patient questions regarding insurance, billing, and appointments
- Ensure a positive and welcoming patient experience
Office Administration
- Supervise front desk operations and workflows
- Maintain compliance with office policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with dentists, hygienists, and assistants
- Assist with training front office staff as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Dental Office Manager or Dental Front Office Coordinator
- Strong knowledge of dental insurance plans, EOBs, and billing procedures
- Experience calculating copays and verifying insurance benefits
- Proficiency with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental)
- Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
