Summary:
The Site Technology Service Specialist Level 3 acts as a liaison between building and central office Technology Support Staff; will be responsible for supporting, troubleshooting, and repairing the client devices. This position will be responsible for support/maintenance of district supported devices.
To successfully perform this position, a person must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The qualification requirements listed below represent minimum levels of educational achievement, training, skill and/or ability necessary.
- Associate Degree in Information Technology or related field of study or equivalent knowledge.
- Certification requirements may change due to hardware/software support needs.
- Required certifications must be valid within 6 months of employment.
- Strong communication, organizational, analytical and teamwork skills are required.
- Must possess valid driver's license.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow through to complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision, ability to schedule time to meet deadlines; ability to work independently, and ability to make work-related decisions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Provide in-service training to Level 1 and 2 technology staff to improve their knowledge, confidence, and ability for problem
- Coordinate the preview/evaluation of hardware and
- Maintain/coordinate repair costs and replacement parts with
- Evaluate/test vendor-related software packages for district supported devices to determine compatibility with existing systems, ease of use, and will the software meet user needs. Deploy/support these
- Work directly with the Technology Information Service Manager and/or other technology staff to develop project plans and coordinate/oversee projects to completion following the
- Utilize analytical/problem-solving skills to investigate, document, communicate, and resolve issues in a timely manner for increased
- Collaborate effectively with technology staff to determine the cause analysis of technology issues; document/communicate this information to appropriate
- Develop/manage the deployment/maintenance of technology devices/policies being deployed throughout the district.
- Create/maintain technical procedures (including design, installation, and administration documentation) to ensure the efficient planning/execution of client devices/policies.
- Manage/coordinate testing of new client devices, software, and deployment packages.

- This position is a 12 month position.
