POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
JOB RELATED HAZARDS: Most job functions will take place in an air-conditioned office with little exposure to hazardous or infectious materials. Customer contact may cause some exposure to infection. There is long hours of standing. Some possible lifting, stooping, and pushing may be necessary.
- General Function: The clinic nurse provides nursing care of clinic patients as directed by the Provider and the Medical Office Manager. The clinic nurse follows established clinic standards, procedures, and practices in providing optimal patient care to the community residents.
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
- Educational Requirements:
- If Nurse: Licensed LPN or RN and CPR Certification
- If Medical Assistant: CPR Certification. Certified medical assistant preferred
- Experience Requirements:
- Two years in a medical office, preferably in a cardiology clinic.
