Qualifications, Responsibilities, & Duties
Organize and maintain student registration, serves as school registrar, schedules, student management system, cumulative folders and records. Answer the telephone and take messages. Type, duplicate, and collate various materials. Be knowledgeable of current office practices, new procedures, student management system for grade reporting and student transcripts, and other forms for office use. Set up and work at new school year registration.
Works primarily with Secondary school administration and secondary staff.

- Working knowledge of and experience with applications; such as: google docs, Word, Excel
- Minimum High School Diploma; Post Secondary Training preferred not required
- Strong communication skills; both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team member
- Greets all visitors, determines their needs, checks appointments, and directs them to the proper person
- Answers all office telephones calls courteously and responds appropriately to requests for information

- Duplicates materials for the district using the most efficient and cost effective method available during designated times.

- Maintains the permanent records of all graduates and students.
- Picks up mail from the post office at times and distributes mail to staff.
- Types a variety of materials, such as letters, student records, reports, memos, etc.
- Handles student registration.
- Maintains and updates parent files and lists.
- Performs various related office duties as assigned.

Qualifications Profile
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Prior successful clerical experience preferred.
