Position Title:Substitute Teachers –District (Kindergarten thru Grades 12)
Reports to:Building Principals
Primary Function:To teach and manage elementary school classrooms in absence of the teacher
Qualifications:
oMA Teacher License preferred but not required
oBachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
oEffective instructional abilities, strong classroom management skills
Responsibilities:
oAbility to teach curriculum and lessons
oStrong classroom management and positive behavior skills
oExcellent communication and collaborative skills with students, staff and parents
oAbility to portray a positive role model to students
oAbility to differentiate instruction for individual students and small groups
oAbility to make accommodations for different learning styles
oOther duties as assigned by principal
Salary: $90(No Degree), $100 (Degree) per day
