Wholesale Seafood Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced seafood specialist to assist with daily operations in our Seafood production environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Seafood industry, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills while ensuring that all food safety and quality standards are met. This role is essential in maintaining an efficient workflow, managing staff, and providing excellent customer service.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of delivery staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Oversee product and picking processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Manage packaging of food products, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Train and mentor staff on food handling procedures, culinary techniques, and safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with health regulations.
• Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and operational.
• work in wholesale office ordering seafood products, creating estimates and invoicing clients.
• Make deliveries as needed

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of seafood production and delivery logistics.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
• Experience with packaging processes and quality control measures.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers alike.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Previous seafood experience is essential; supervisory experience is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $30.00 per hour
